AHHHH!
My sweet family has been sick for about a week. I have been running around the house fixing meals, drinks, distributing tylenol, cleaning up tissue, giving baths, and listening to my sweet husband rant about how I don't understand what he is going through. At one point he said that he was so frustrated about being sick that he wanted to spank me and break things. What a freak-show. Anyway, everyone seems to be getting better (finally).
.
I painted my bedroom today, for the 5th time. I think I will actually finish this time. I like the color
Pow wow dancing has started up again. I'm not sure if we are going to make the trip to the valley every week. We may have to go to once a month. We'll see. We are going to go tomorrow.
I need an apple cider press if anyone knows where I can get one. My friend has a ton of apple trees and I thought it would be fun to do cider this year. May do grapes, applesauce, and dried peaches this year. Dried peaches are the yummiest.
My son keeps kissing my stomach and tells me that he is kissing the baby... time to get serious about that treadmill. p.s. NO, NO BABY!
I love this time of year. The weather, the activities, the smells. Beautiful.

family campout
Just got back from out annual family campout. It was pretty sweet. We always have a good time with OJ's family. I wish we could stay for a month. The kids have so much more freedom in the mountains. Anyway, on the way home we stopped at the trout lake yard sale and got to take whatever we wanted for free. Heck yah! We got some Christmas decorations, some sweet shoes...I don't know what other cool things we got, but we got a lot (boxes and boxes). The kids got pretty much whatever they wanted. I figure they have forgotten about it by now so I will just take everthing to the good will in the morning. Check out our pics on my facebook.... I know crazy to have both.

pumpin iron with Emmerson Drive
Well Emmerson Drive worked out at one of our clubs while they were in town for the fair. One of our employees was pretty much freaking out. She said that she watched one of them stretch for about an hour. They ended up giving her a back stage pass and she got to meet the band. Pretty sweet. OJ and I ended up seeing them at the fair and we got a chance to talk to them for just a second. One of the guys (I'm not sure what their names are) told us how much they enjoyed the massage chair, and another one said that he liked our smoothies at Mango Tango. Crazy huh. OJ and I thought it was pretty fun. He wants to be a rock star now. We'll see how that goes.

4 wheeler freak out!
so the kids wanted to ride their little motorcycle today. I let them ride around the yard for a little bit. After about 15 minutes they came into the house and told me that they ran into the fence and knocked down a couple of boards. OK. I handled that pretty well. I told them to turn the sprinklers on and stay off the motercycle. Well, aparently my oldest didn't hear me. She went out, turned the sprinklers off and rode the motorcycle. I was just about to go out and tell her to get off when she came running into the house crying that she was so sorry. She ran into the fence about 12 feet from the other carnage. She knocked about 4 fence boards down. I had to get on the treadmill for an hour just to try to keep from freaking out! Good times...

camp trailer
We just bought a camp trailer today. It is pretty sweet. We are going to have to take our first trip in it this weekend. So much for finally staying in town. OJ is gearing up to climb Adams. They finally opened the mountain back up today. He wanted me to hike it with them, but I'm afraid they would have to carry my dead body off the mountain. I'm not sure that one week of training would do it. I think I'll stick to the upcoming fair 5k.

cop car
COP CAR!
So, We went to Seattle this weekend so that OJ could ride the Seattle to Portland (STP) with my brother Josh . The first day was great! We went to the children's museum, called the fire department to come and put out a 3 foot fire next to the pay to park kiosk, checked out the space needle, and we met OJ and Josh at a few of their waypoints and cheered them on. Perfect! Then on Sunday morning after I dropped OJ off in Centralia to continue his ride I took the kids up to the Mount Saint Helens visitor center. We hiked around for a little bit, but the kids weren't up for it. Aponi was pretty much freaking out, so we left. As soon as we got on the freeway the truck lost power and we broke down. A state trooper showed up after a few minutes and we got to sit in the back of the cop car until my tow truck showed up. The kids thought it was the best. The tow truck winched the truck up onto the back of the truck with us in it. So, we got to ride in our truck on top of his truck back to the repair shop. Aspen was recording it all with the video camera. The kids kept asking me if we could get popsicles after we were done being broke down. Anyway, we got the truck fixed,OJ finished the ride, the kids got thier ice cream, and we are getting ready for next weekends family reunion in Glenwood, (if the fire gets under control); OJ is supposed to guide a group of our club members up the Adams next week... we'll see what the fire says about that...

oregon coast
Just got home from the oregon coast. We camped out for a 5 days with JJ and Sam. We had a great time. Stayed at Fort stevens, rode bikes with the kids, played in the freezing ocean, saw Brett Ottley and his family, saw my cousin, paid for firewood, bon fire on the beach, dirty sandy kids... It was beautiful. check out the pics.

Hello Friends
Hello everyone. We miss you. Please quit your jobs and move to Kennewick. I wrote everyone Christmas cards, but never sent them. We have been pretty busy. Anyway, I thought I would update everyone on the saga of the Fianders.
OJ has been very busy at work. Columbia Fitness is doing well, you know with the new health craze. The clubs are busy... we just opened club number six in Pendleton. We're working on two expansions and will be opening two more clubs between now and summer. Also, OJ also just expanded Mango Tango. So he is pretty busy and he loves what he is doing. I'm not really sure how much I love it though. OJ works 60+ house / week, he is on the phone or the computer most of the time and worst of all he has never let me have one red cent from Club 24. He is always careful to make time for us. He takes us with him on many of his business trips, and we visit him at work a few times/ week (I'm sure we drive him crazy). He has actually been working from home a few hours/ week.
I've been busy taking care of kids and trying to get our house finished. We have been working on it for 5 years now. It's almost finished. Just have the yard left. OJ is going to build us a house as soon as he gets some time.... so never. We are trying to get the kids involved in their native heritage so we have been driving over to Toppenish every Tuesday so that the kids can learn to Powow dance, drum, and sing. OJ and Aspen are really getting pretty good at dancing. Wyatt sits in with the drum group, and Avery and Aponi do thier thing. It's pretty cool.
Aspen is already 10. She is in the 4th grade. She is playing piano and basketball. She's pretty cool. She is already starting to babysit for us when OJ and I go out for a few minutes. She has been such a help with Aponi.
Wyatt is 7. He is going to be 8 on May 3rd, so he'll be getting baptized. He can't wait becuase he gets his first knife when he turns 8 and he gets to go to cub camp. We have our first powow two days after his baptism so that will be pretty special for him. He is playing Basketball and Baseball. He puts up with school, but he doesn't love it. He is totally into Harry Potter. We have been reading the series every night. He is already on book 3. He is just like his dad.
Avery is 5. She is something else. She is in preschool a couple of days a week. She could have started kindergarten this year but OJ wasn't ready to let her go. She is so wild. The other day she told me that it was OK if she didn't eat healthy because fat people are still beautiful. She said I was fat and I'm still beautiful. Nice huh! She likes adventure and taking care of her brother and sisters.
Aponi, our baby. She is already 15 months old. She is awesome. I think she is the sassiest little girl ever born. OJ and I really like her. We are really taking the time to enjoy her. I'm pretty sure she is going to be a spoiled little princess. She likes to give everyone lickers.
We miss everyone, and hope to see you soon. We are talking about going to Chicago in October for a club show. Also, my sister is living in New york and we are talking about taking a road trip for a few weeks during the summer. So we may be over that way. We are actually going to go to California march 1st -the 7th if anyone is going to be over this way. OJ has a club show so we are taking the kids to Disney, seworld, zoo, etc. Love you guys. The Fianders.
